IP Pathways: Offered by New Ventures BC and the Province of BC

Looking to fulfil your education requirement for Stream 2-2 or Stream 3 with AccelerateIP? You have the option of registering for IP Pathways, an online, synchronous course that is the equivalent of AccelerateIP’s IP Certification program.

How IP Pathways differs from the IP Certification program with AccelerateIP:

• Larger class sizes, so whole teams can attend vs one team member (up to 60 vs 15)
• Shorter synchronous learning periods (1.5 hours vs 6 hours at a time)
• More independent time learning, making it a bit more flexible
• Open primarily to companies in BC

You will learn about:

• IP strategy and how it relates to your business
• Assessing the importance of a data strategy
• Identifying how different forms of IP intersect and can be layered or combined for strategic advantage
• Understanding IP enforcement strategies including alternatives to litigation
