Richard Mar is a Partner at DLA Piper’s Toronto office. Richard advises clients on all aspects of acquisition, transfer and protection of intellectual property rights with a concentration on patent counselling and prosecution. He also assists with patentability and infringement opinions, drafting licensing agreements, and enforcing intellectual property rights. Richard is admitted to the bar in British Columbia, Ontario and New York and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Mike Reid is a Partner at DLA Piper’s Vancouver office and co-chair of the Firm’s Emerging Growth and Venture Capital Group. Mike works with entrepreneurs, founders and other executives at startup and growth-stage companies at all stages of a company’s life cycle from startup, through growth, to exit.
